- We generally decide the base flavour for you on a weekly basis. We curate ingredients for optimal taste and health benefits. (examples of the base include: Passion Fruit + Raspberry, Blackcurrant + Mangosteen, Dragon fruit + Passion Fruit etc.)
- Customization is possible with specific preferences and health goals that you have for that week. Let us know over WhatsApp your preference for the week, and we will pass it over to our production team of elves.
- Store it in the fridge because the pressure can build up if left out of the fridge for too long
- Drink it during or after meals
- Drink about 100 to 200 ml initially, once your stomach gets used to the good bacteria, you can then drink as much as you like.
- First of all you should always store your kombucha in the fridge to prevent pressure build up in the bottle.
- To open, using your palm, apply firm pressure on the cap.
- Flip the metal lock open holding the cap down tightly.
- If the kombucha rises very quickly, lock it back. Leave it for a minute then try again.
- After a few times letting the gas out, you will be able to open it safely.
- Yes, those are a mixture of the yeast and ingredients. They are all edible and healthy for you. The black or dark green powder is usually spirulina, it helps with your digestion and detoxing.
- The slimy jelly is part of the naturally growing SCOBY, which is the magic ingredient that ferments the kombucha. You can drink it, or filter it out if you don't like the texture.
- It really depends on the fruits and ingredients that are in that bottle/batch.
- Sometimes it depends on how fermented the kombucha is, if it is not fermented enough you can leave the kombucha out of the fridge for a few hours to a day to allow it to continue fermenting. Store it in the fridge before opening.
