Constipation Blend

Our Constipation Blend is brewed with prunes, a fruit traditionally used to support healthy bowel function. Prunes naturally contain dietary fibre and sorbitol, a naturally occurring compound that can draw water into the bowel and help soften stool. Combined with the fermentation process of kombucha, we created this blend as a refreshing, food-based option for people looking to support regular digestion.

The benefits of prunes are supported by clinical research. In a randomized controlled trial of 40 people with chronic constipation, consuming prunes significantly improved complete spontaneous bowel movements and stool consistency compared with psyllium. The researchers concluded that prunes were safe, well tolerated and effective for mild-to-moderate constipation.
